Windy is co-owned with Meghan Doyle, owner and head trainer at Performance Plus K9 Activity Center located in Raynham, Massachusetts. She went to Meghan after she completed her basic obedience and field training. 

​

Windy is a beautiful dog who has a deep red Golden coat like the first Goldens bred in the Scottish Highlands. She is a direct descendant of the first Goldens. Some of the most recognizable field trial Goldens are in her lines. While she has the drive energy and determination typical of well-bred field dogs, at home she is loving affectionate and playful. She will play fetch and tug-a-war with anyone who she can persuade to play with her. She likes to cuddle on the couch or anything that gets her attention and companionship from her humans.  She is the kind of dog you can take anywhere; she is well mannered in public.  Windy is friendly with everyone she meets; she insists on being your new best friend! She is the kind of dog that people like so much they often ask where they can get a dog just like that, or better yet, if they can have a puppy from her. Windy is a favorite of the trainers staff and clients at Performance Plus. She turns heads at the various events where she competes for titles, and she is gaining a good reputation in the performance ring.

Windy has an athletic muscular build; she’s fast on land and strong in the water. Her athleticism and drive make her well suited for Agility, Dock Diving and any other that requires speed and athleticism. Professionals and amateurs alike say she is a joy to train because of her great attitude and quick learning ability. She is very smart!  She has excelled at scent work, tracking, obedience and trick dog events. In addition to Agility, she has titles or working towards her title in all of these events.

This will be Windy’s first litter, and we are very excited to see her produce litters as strong as her mother, Rose. The litter will be located in Raynham, Massachusetts, where they will start their early socialization and training with Meghan and her team.

Brew is athletic, extremely biddable, eager to please, and backed by an outstanding temperament. An accomplished Agility Champion, he is a true powerhouse both in the field and on the agility course. Brew competes successfully in agility, field, obedience, and rally, seamlessly switching gears from one venue to the next - a testament to his mental clarity and versatility. He is the 2023 GRCA National Specialty Triathlon Award Recipient and holds titles across multiple sports; his accomplishments and titles truly speak for themselves. Despite his competitive success, Brew has an excellent off-switch at home and happily believes he’s a lap dog when the work is done.

From this pairing, we anticipate confident, driven, and highly versatile puppies with strong natural instincts, athletic ability, and exceptional trainability. These puppies are expected to excel in performance and hunting homes, while possessing the off-switch and temperament to be solid companions in active households. Preference will be given to performance and hunting homes prepared to provide the structure, outlets, and engagement these puppies will thrive on.

This litter will be whelped with Windy's co-owner and trainer, Meghan, in Massachusetts. We are willing to work with buyers who live out of this region.
